Puerto Vallarta’s beaches are free of sargassum.
After dissemination of rumors and false or misleading news about presence of seaweed in Puerto Vallarta’s coastline, German Ralis Cumplido, Secretary of tourism of Jalisco, said that Puerto Vallarta is free of sargassum.
In recent weeks, the Puerto Vallarta’s beaches have been monitored by experts and found some seaweed on the coasts. Nevertheless, those residues of seaweed belonged to rocks from the pacific ocean and are not related to sargassum and its origin. Therefore, the tourism will not be affected at all.
